What is LMPC (Legal Metrology Packaged Commodity)?.

Before importing any pre-packaged goods or commodity in India, you must get an LMPC registration certificate. The certificate must be received 90 days prior to the date you decide to start importing goods/commodity in Indian market.

An affidavit stating that applicant(s) shall adhere to the legal provisions and the directions issued by the controller
Copy of GST/ VAT/CST Registration
Registration document of establishment/municipal/factory/shop or trade license
