What is ROHS? .

Restriction of Hazards Substances certification is designed to reduce/restrict the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). The six such substances used in EEE are: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent Chromium (Cr-VI), Polybrominated Biphenyl (PBB), and Polybrominated Biphenyl ether (PBDE).

Process to get ROHS.

1. Fill out the application form
2. To ensure compliance requirement, the application form will be reviewed
3. The body will perform gap analysis and provide price quotation to the client, once the application has been reviewed.
4. Verification of documents
5. An auditor will be assigned to verify the details mentioned while submitting the form and to verify all the documents
6. The certification body will grant the certificate for three years.
